The Co-operators General Insurance Barbados Amateur Basketball Association (BABA) Premier League crown now rests with the Pinelands Basketball Club after they defeated the defending champs, the Burger King Clapham Bulls, 89-80, in the deciding Game 5 on Saturday night.

With the final week of games complete, the second round is a wrap and Rasheed Maynard of Pinelands is the final regular season winner of the PEAK Player of The Week in the Co-Operators General Insurance BABA Premier League and our first repeat winner of the weekly award so far.
In his 3 games this week, he averaged 35 points, 12 rebounds, 3.67 steals and shot at 56.2% from the field.
He led his team throughout the week with a 27 points and 25 rebounds output against Warrens All Stars followed up by a 36 points, 7 rebounds and 7 steals effort in a come from behind win against Fusionz Boutique Station Hill Cavaliers to secure the #1 seed heading into the playoffs.
Not to be outdone, he then returned 2 days later, to pour in a season high 42 points with 7 assists against Burger King Clapham Bulls. This performance also included a scorching 8/15 from 3-point range in an unsuccessful bid to overcome a 19-point deficit and preserve their previously unbeaten record as they eventually fell by a narrow 2-point margin.
PEAK Player of The Week
During this 3-game stretch, the high energy small forward powered his C.A.M Smart Assurance City United Celtics to a 2-1 record averaging 16.3 points and 17.0 rebounds. This included a monster 24 rebound performance against Burger King Clapham Bulls which clinched City United’s first trip to the Premier League Playoffs.
